Eddie Owens from United Supermarkets appeared on the Tuesday edition of Lubbock's First News to discuss the newest store openings with The United Family and United taking over the operation of four Albertsons stores.

The United Family will assume control of Albertsons in Carlsbad, Clovis, Hobbs and Roswell in early September.
