A Lubbock organization will hold a free Thanksgiving meal to homeless and low-income families this week.

The Bridge of Lubbock will offer the hot meal on Friday, November 22nd, and they also hope to provide each individual in attendance with a bag of canned food items.

The meal is made possible by financial contributions from Amerigroup and Lubbock National Bank.

Other groups in the community have come together to help provide food for attendees, including Gamma Beta Phi, Lubbock Legal Professionals, Health and Safety Solutions, Experience Life Church, Alpha Kappa Psi, and more.

The Bridge of Lubbock is a Christian nonprofit organization that works to restore hope within the community.

The lunch will be held at noon Friday at The Bridge of Lubbock, located at 1301 East Redbud Avenue, one block east of East 13th Street and MLK.
