Building off the success of last year's Project: Prom; The Bridge of Lubbock is holding another edition of the clothing drive.

The Bridge of Lubbock is seeking donations of prom night items.   Project: Prom provides gently used or new tuxedos, suits, prom dresses, accessories, and shoes to low income high school students

Last year, the Bridge was able to serve 125 young people with prom attire and accessories. Businesses that contributed time, services, and items in 2013 include Kohls, 10*20 Boutique, Cut the Chase, Monroe's Salon and Spa, Salon V, Affordable Cuts Barbershop Vista College, Tuxedo Junction, Kim's Nail Spa, Anderson's Cleaners, Comet Cleaners, and Mary Kay consultants.

The Bridge of Lubbock is now looking for donations of prom/party dresses, tuxedos/suits, jewelry, shoes, and other accessories.   The Bridge states their biggest need is attire for the young men.

Donations for Project: Prom will be accepted at The Bridge of Lubbock at 1301 E. Redbud Ave., Sew Lovely at 8004 Indiana Ave. Suite A11, and Women’s Curves at is 1901 W Loop 289 Suite 8 thru March 21, 2014. Drop-off times are available the following days:

The Bridge of Lubbock on Monday, Wednesday, Friday between the hours 10:00am - 1:00pm.

Sew Lovely on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Curves Women’s Fitness Center on Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm – 7 pm.
