The Bridge of Lubbock Seeking Donations For Clothing Giveaway

A Lubbock organization is seeking clothing donations to help some area students before they go back to school.

The Bridge of Lubbock will hold their Bridge Bash, which is an annual back-to-school clothing giveaway offered to low income families in Lubbock and surrounding communities.

The event will take place on August 24^th, 2013 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Bridge of Lubbock, located at 1301 East Redbud Avenue.

The group is now collecting gently-worn clothing for children, men, and women.

Last year, the Bridge of Lubbock helped provide clothing and school materials to hundreds of families across the area. The organization is also seeking volunteers to get involved in the event.

Donations for the Bridge Bash are accepted Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bridge of Lubbock location. Individual appointments may also be scheduled by calling the group at 687-0772.
