Lubbock ISD was notified Wednesday morning that Lubbock High School has been chosen by the Washington Post as one of the most challenging high schools in the United States.
Charles H. Swift taught pre-advanced placement biology and science at J.T. Hutchinson Junior High for more than 20 years and 35 years overall as a teacher, retiring in 2002.
Brad Blalock said “I’ve decided it’s in the best interest of my team and my family for me to resign as the head coach of Lubbock High women’s basketball. I want them to continue to grow and compete at the highest levels.”
