Hospice of Lubbock is in immediate need of volunteers to help care for patients, and has several volunteer training dates available for those wishing to help.
The 23rd Annual event is the largest fundraiser of the year for Hospice of Lubbock.
On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Cheryl Presley, volunteer program coordinator of Hospice of Lubbock, joined Chad and Rex to talk about the Light Up A Life fundraiser.
The fundraiser will officially begin with a tree-lighting ceremony Thursday.
