On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Cheryl Presley from Hospice of Lubbock talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about their upcoming fundraiser.

This weekend, Hospice of Lubbock will be throwing its 24th annual Mayor's Beans and Cornbread luncheon. The luncheon will take place Friday, March 1st, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at the Lubbock Civic Center. All proceeds from the luncheon, including server tips, will go to Hospice of Lubbock.

Hospice of Lubbock provides end-of-life care for those suffering from terminal illnesses. They are one of the oldest and the only non-profit hospice in Lubbock.
