On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin joined Chad and Rex live from Reese Golf Center.

Mayor Martin spoke about several issues that were brought up at yesterday's City Council meeting. He explained that the Bounce House ordinance has been "kicked around" to the Park Board committee for further delegation.

Mayor Martin also talked about the recently approved study to determine the amount of money it would take to build a new police station. He also discussed a few options for the police station. One of those options included possibly making several sub-stations around the city as opposed to one central police station.

The next City Council meeting will be held in July and will discuss the city budget.
