Should Texas Lawmakers Pass Sanctuary Cities Legislation? [POLL]

SB 185 also known as Sanctuary Cities legislation made news in Lubbock last week when Lubbock City Councilman Victor Hernandez called the bill and it's author, Senator Charles Perry, racist. The legislation prohibits cities from passing ordinances that would ban officers from asking about someone's immigration status if being detained for another crime. The bill would not force officers to ask, nor would it make it acceptable for officers to just pull someone over to ask about immigration.
