Monday on Lubbock's First News, Congressman Randy Neugebauer talked about the Farm Bill progress and process of assessing the possible security risks of the health care exchange website.

He noted there had been a session for hearing the problems people have had with the website. He said one major concern with the website is the security for those that have signed up. People may be worried that their credit card or other personal information may be abused.

Neugebauer also talked about progress on the Farm Bill. He said when Congress returns from the holiday break, there will be a "marathon conference" for focusing on the Bill. Because the Senate did not vote on the extension, the current Bill will expire January 1. He said, "I think we are close enough now, with the framework that we have, that when we get back the first week in January that we.... can possibly get that bill done."
