Monday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin Congressman Jodey Arrington, who is back in West Texas, joined Dave and Matt to talk about the farm bill, NAFTA, Obama back on the campaign trail, food stamps, and more.

When asked if he thinks NAFTA will affect the Farm Bill, Congressman Arrington said he didn't think it would, but wanted to reiterate,

"The president is once again fulfilling his campaign promises to improve the trade deals that he felt like were negotiated in weakness and not strength. I would agree that he's made improvements...Even with agriculture we've seen improvements."

Arrington also mentioned that many democrats and the Senate, "have their heels dug in on not reforming the food stamp program." Food Stamps take up 85% of the Farm Bill, but seems to be having a lot of trouble being passed.
