Chad’s Morning Brief: Democrats Furious Over Work Requirement Proposal
House Republicans want work requirements for some who get food stamps from the federal government. The plans were unveiled in a new Farm Bill, which should be called a Food Stamp bill, on Thursday. Democrats hate the work requirements while Republicans think they will help get people off welfare.
