A number of schools and other agencies will have delayed start times or cancellations due to Monday’s inclement weather.

Texas Tech University classes will begin at 11 a.m. with staff reporting at 10:30 a.m. South Plains College classes will begin at 11 a.m. as well.

Lubbock ISD, Frenship ISD, Lubbock-Cooper ISD, and Brownfield ISDs will start classes two hours late. All-Saints, Meadow, Lockney, and Crosbyton ISDs will start classes at 10 a.m.

Olton and Shallowater ISDs have cancelled classes for Tuesday.

City of Lubbock offices will open at 10:30 a.m.

Highway 62/82 between Lubbock and Brownfield has reopened.

Interstate 27 between Lubbock and Amarillo remains closed as of 6:30 p.m.

Lubbock’s Preston Smith International Airport remains closed as well.

Grace Clinic will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

High profile vehicles and personnel from Texas Military Forces have been sent to Lubbock, Amarillo, Pampa, and Childress to help rescue stranded motorists as well.
