South Plains College to Offer NRA Basic Pistol Course

South Plains College will award 1,544 degrees and certificates at their 55th Annual Commencement Ceremony.
The recipients join 25 other former SPC students who have been named Distinguished Alumni since the program was initiated in 1987.
The Levelland service clubs nominate an outstanding member for the award. The member has gone above and beyond through service to their club and community.
The grant will provide scholarships for high school graduates from Lubbock and Hockley Counties.
The resource fair will provide one-stop planning for a technical degree from South Plains College.
The band has been a staple of the Commercial Music Program at SPC, since Professor Joe Carr started the group in spring of 1987.
The event also included the introduction of the 2013 recipients of the SPC Foundation’s Pacesetter Awards, recognizing exemplary philanthropy and support of the Foundation.
A number of schools and other agencies will have delayed start times or cancellations due to Monday’s inclement weather.
