The race to fill Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison's U.S. Senate seat is underway and Lubbock's First News has had all the candidates on for interviews, except for one.

That changes Wednesday as Lubbock's First News welcomes Craig James onto the show at 8am. Craig James officially announced his candidacy in early January and has since participated in the first Texas U.S. Senate Debate. One of the highlights to James' campaign has been the releasing of his previous years' tax returns and he is calling on the other candidates in the race to do the same.

James, a former ESPN analyst, is a controversial figure in Lubbock and West Texas. James is campaigning on bringing fresh ideas to Washington and to get the country out of the crisis it's currently in. Tune in as Lubbock's First News with Chad Hasty talks with Craig James on Wednesday at 8am about his campaign for the U.S. Senate seat in Texas.
