Next Tuesday, July 10, the Texas Comptroller’s Office will hold a seminar in Lubbock for business owners.

The seminar will present information pertaining to filling out various tax forms correctly, how to file and pay state taxes electronically and answer questions from those in attendance.

The free seminar will be held at the Lubbock Small Business Development Center on the South Loop from 6 to 8p.

“We want to empower Texas business owners by making resources and information accessible,” said R.J. Desilva, spokesman for the Comptroller’s office. “Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides guidance for businesses.”

Those unable to attend the seminar can contact the Comptroller’s Field office in Lubbock at 800-252-5555.
