At Mid-Year, the Stats About Rain Are Good News, Bad News

Rex Andrew, KFYO.com

The numbers about precipitation in  Lubbock continue to be a mixture of some good news, some bad news.  In June, Lubbock received 1.6 inches of rain.  That’s  more than June of last year, but it’s still below normal.

For the first half of this year, Lubbock received 5 ¼  inches of rain.  Again, that is more than the same period than last year.  However, it’s four inches below normal.
