Texas Tech Graduates Appointed as Judge, District Attorney in Erath County

A Texas Tech graduate has been appointed as a central Texas judge.
Jason Cashon of Stephenville has been appointed by Governor Rick Perry as judge of the 266th Judicial District Court in Erath County.
Cashon currently serves as district attorney of that judicial district, and as an adjunct professor at Tarleton State University.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech, and his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University. Cashon is also board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in criminal law.
Succeeding him as district attorney of the 266th Judicial District is Alan Nash of Stephenville. Nash received his bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University, and a law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law.
