Microsurfacing to Take Place in Southwest Lubbock on Thursday

Microsurfacing will take place on major streets in Lubbock Thursday evening.

Crews will apply two courses of Micro-Surfacing on 82^nd Street and from Frankford Avenue to Milwaukee Avenue and on Frankford from Spur 327 to 82^nd Street. The work will take place in the overnight hours between 7pm and 7am.

There will be construction activity at different times during this process resulting in times when the roadway could be blocked off with no workers present.

As always, motorists are advised to allow extra time for delays or to find alternate routes for their travel. This work along 82nd street and on Frankford will take two weeks to complete depending on weather conditions and construction.
