The movie is based on a book that’s so long,  it will take three movies to tell the story.  And the movie is unusual because Hollywood is not known for movies with conservative themes.  Harmon Kaslow, a producer of the movie, was a guest on the Chad Hasty Show on KFYO.

“Atlas Shrugged has a very powerful and timely message,” Kaslow said.  “It talks about smaller government,  individual rights, the power of the free market.”

And the expectations of theater owners?

“The attitude that these theater owners feel in the community is that there is an active movement among people on these types of message movies.”

The movie will open in theaters this weekend.
