Atlas Shrugged was written in the 1950s as a sort of warning against big government, and many of its themes, such as small government and the free market, and incredibly relevant today. Karmon said he expects to see a much larger theatrical release for Part 2 due to the huge support for Part 1, and that both the book and the films have a timely and powerful message with enormous impact.
Although it is Part 2 in the series, Karmon said this film can be a stand-alone movie and it’s not necessary to see the first film to get the story.
“Atlas Shrugged” will be coming to Lubbock October 12th at Cinemark Movies 16. For more information on the movie, check out the website at atlasshruggedmovie.com.
