Lubbock Police arrested a man who committed multiple residential burglaries and are attempting to return the stolen items.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, Detective Bryan DuBois responded to a burglary-in-progress call in the 4100 block of 109th Street. DuBois pulled over a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood and discovered the driver had an outstanding warrant and had many stolen items in the vehicle. Jose Manuel Calderon, 19, was arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Jail.

Police were able to identify many owners of the stolen goods and are currently looking for others. Residents in the neighborhoods around Indiana and Quaker Avenues between 98th to 130th streets are encouraged to contact the Lubbock Police Department if they find evidence of a burglary at 775-2865
