Historic Redeemer Lutheran Church Hosting Advent and Christmas Eve Services

Redeemer Lutheran Church, located at 2221 Avenue W. in the Heart of Lubbock Neighborhood, invites the public to join us for Advent services and Christmas Eve services.

The Advent services will be December 5, 12, and 19 at 7:00 PM. There will actually be two Christmas Eve Services, the first being December 24 at 7:00 PM and the second starting at 8:00 PM with a short intermission in between.  Those wishing to worship God with us may attend either service or both.

Redeemer Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  A cry room/nursery is available at the back of the sanctuary.

Redeemer was organized in 1932 and moved to its current location in the late 1940’s.  The City of Lubbock named Redeemer an historic landmark in 2010.

Advent is the season of the Christian calendar which observes the first coming of Jesus Christ into the world with his birth from his mother, Mary.
