On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Corlis Norman from Redeemer Lutheran Church talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about their upcoming fundraiser.

Redeemer Lutheran will be hosting their annual Oktoberfest fundraiser this weekend. Norma said that this year's menu includes Klemke's Sausage form Slaton, Texas, as well as German potato salad, sauerkraut and German chocolate cake. There will also be a raffle, a crafts sale and a bake sale a the event.Proceeds from the event go towards Redeemer Lutheran's Women Missionary League, which participates in a large number of service projects around the community.

Oktoberfest will take place at Redeemer Lutheran at 2212 Avenue W on Saturday, October 5th, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Admission is $8.75 for adults and $4.50 for kids 10 and under.
