Monday on Lubbock's First News, Wendy Grimes of the Garrison Geriatric Center for Education and Care gave details on the upcoming fundraiser concert.

The Garrison Center is bringing Christian musical artists Matthew West, Sidewalk Profits, and Jason Castro to town as a fundraiser to help fund things the center is not budgeted for. The concert will take place at the City Bank Auditorium on Thursday, November 14, at 7:00 pm. Door will open at 6:00. General admission tickets are $23 through Select-A-Seat or at the door. V.I.P. tickets art $50 and include a visit with the artists before the concert begins.

The Garrison Center for Education and Care offer long term care for the elderly. They specialize in dementia care and skilled nursing, as well as Alzheimer care, speech and physical therapy. Grimes said, "we have a great tradition of care" and is hoping to "get our Christian message out there" by bringing these bands to Lubbock. The center will begin building an outpatient therapy gym and swimming pool in February.
