Lubbock citizens on Lubbock Power and Light are now in the window to choose a new energy provider. Those on LP&L have until February 15th to choose a new provider or one will be assigned to them until they pick a new provider.

The process to choose a new provider has many Lubbock citizens asking a lot of questions, comparing rates, and wondering which service is best for them. Last week, Matt Rose with Lubbock Power and Light appeared on The Chad Hasty Show to discuss the retail electric market, the move to ERCOT, and what LP&L's future will be.

Rose also answered questions about charges on future bills, why rates seem to be higher than what LP&L's currently is, and what may happen when you first sign up, among other questions that listeners submitted.

Rose will appear on The Chad Hasty Show again before February 15th to continue answering questions.
