Texas Tech was supposed to play TCU on Monday and Wednesday. Due to the winter weather, those two games were moved to Tuesday and Thursday. The Tuesday game was postponed to an unspecified date at some point in the future. The Thursday game though, surely we can get that one in. WRONG. That one is also postponed to some mysterious date in the distant future.

Here is Texas Tech's official press release announcing the postponement of the Thursday game against TCU in Fort Worth:

Due to continuing inclement weather, the Texas Tech at TCU men's basketball game scheduled for Thursday has been postponed. The Big 12 made the announcement on Wednesday morning along with the postponement of the Texas at Oklahoma game.

Additional information will be released when available.

The Red Raiders (14-6, 6-5 Big 12) are now scheduled to return to action against Kansas at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas before playing at Oklahoma State on Monday in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The team now has postponements remaining to be played against Baylor, Iowa State and two against TCU. Texas Tech is scheduled to host Texas at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the United Supermarkets Arena, while the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship is from March 10-13 in Kansas City.

The Red Raiders have three games remaining on the schedule, detailed in the paragraph above, but there are four more games, Baylor, Iowa State, and a pair of games against TCU, that are not scheduled to be played at this moment.

Allegedly, the Big 12 tournament will go off as planned which limits the opportunities that the Red Raiders have to make up those four games. Even if the Red Raiders do get back on the floor for the final three games that are scheduled, I have extreme doubt that the team will play all of their regular-season games.
