Toppin To Miss The Rest of the Season
After testing and undergoing an MRI, Texas Tech officials came out earlier on Wednesday and announced that star J.T. Toppin suffered season ending knee injury. On Wednesday, officials announced that Toppin has a torn ACL.
According to KAMC, Toppin leads the nations with 234 field goals made. The junior also leads the Big 12 with 16 double-doubles recorded. The preseason All-America selection has averaged 21.8 points per game this season. Toppin leads Texas Tech in scoring, rebounding, and blocked shots.
Texas Tech is currently ranked #13 in the nation. They will play Kansas State on Saturday and Cincinnati on Tuesday.
