Trouble For Farmers Because Of The Debt Ceiling Uncertainty?
Should farmers be worried about the August 2nd debt ceiling deadline? If the problem is not solved, could it affect payments to farmers?
Earlier on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer said if funds are limited, it will be up to the president to decide where the money goes.
“It’s hard to tell how he’s going to prioritize that,” Neugebauer said. “I mean the whole government is going to be impacted. It’s really hard to predict because these are very uncertain times here in Washington right now."
Neugebauer said that unfortunately the president is more in the politics mode than in the solution-finding mode.
