The Red Raiders trailed by one at halftime before exploding for a 30-point victory against the LIU Sharks, 96-66.

Jahmi'us Ramsey led the way with 27 points as one of five Red Raiders in double figures, including Kyler Edwards, Davide Moretti, Terrance Shannon Jr. and Kevin McCullar.

The LIU Sharks nailed a three going into halftime to take the lead, 42-41. It was one of the highest-scoring halves the Red Raiders have given up in the last several years. Chris Beard went in at halftime and rallied the troops, though, as Texas Tech outscored LIU 55-24 in the second half.

LIU shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, but with the added heat in the second half, they could only muster 33 percent from the field.

It was Jahmi'us Ramsey and Terrance Shannon that provided most of the fireworks in the second half for Texas Tech, including a massive dunk from Terrance Shannon.

You might be wondering what fire and brimstone message shook the cobwebs loose in the locker room at halftime, but it was a simple message from Chris Beard: "Just stay poised."

An underrated stat from the game was the Raider Riot student section, who had the lower bowl of the United Supermarkets Arena loaded and rocking on a Sunday afternoon on Thanksgiving break.

Texas Tech Basketball is going to be tough to beat at home this season.
