The 85th Texas Legislature has about six weeks left in the current session. In the early part of the session, the Texas Senate was making all the news but now the headlines are starting to come out of the House. While the Texas Senate has passed anti-Sanctuary City legislation along with a Bathroom Bill, and School Choice, the House is a different beast. In the House, sanctuary city legislation is expected to be watered down, school choice is considered dead, and the Speaker is no fan of the Bathroom Bill.
