Rep. Drew Springer Update On Texas Special Legislative Session [INTERVIEW]

Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Texas House District 68 Representative Drew Springer joined the broadcast to talk about progress and bills in the special session of the Texas Legislature.

Springer and Hasty discussed many issues, including the pace of the session, the "bathroom bill", healthcare reform, the funding of abortions through cities and counties, and property tax reform.

While speaking about the about legislative processes in the House, and what bills make it through to a vote, Springer said,

There's a lot of bills that probably could pass if we get them to the floor, but for whatever reason those chairmen don't like that idea, that bill.
