Last night the Lubbock City Council voted to fire Lubbock City Manager Lee Ann Dumbauld. This comes after months of executive sessions attempting to come to a resolution between Councilman Victor Hernandez and Dumbauld. The council also voted to dismiss complaint Dumbauld filed against Councilman Hernandez. Hernandez came under fire and now faces a recall election, in part, because he refused to abstain from voting on issues dealing with the complaints made against him. Last night, he voted to fire Dumbauld. The final vote was 4-3 with Mayor Glen Robertson, Councilman Floyd Price, and Councilwoman Gibson voting against.

In your opinion, was it right for Councilman Victor Hernandez to vote?
