Renowed Cellist to Play with Lubbock Symphony Orchestra this Weekend

This weekend the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra will perform the Virtuosic Power concert series featuring renowned cellist Maja Bogdanovic.

The Serbian cellist has previously played at Carnegie Hall and currently plays along with the Berlin Symphony, according to her website.

The orchestra along with Bogdanovic will perform Dmitri Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1, Felix Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, Op. 26 and Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2, Op. 43 in D major.
