Lubbock Police Search For Juan Gilberto Mora For Stabbing

Lubbock Police are searching for the man suspected of stabbing a woman in her apartment late Sunday night.

Police were called to the Toledo Court Apartment Complex at 306 Toledo just after 11:45 p.m. Sunday, April 6^th.

They found 28-year-old Elizabeth Garcia in her apartment with multiple stab wounds to her torso and head. Garcia was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. As of Monday afternoon, she remains in critical condition.

Authorities are searching for Juan Gilberto Mora, who is suspected of stabbing Garcia.

Mora is described as a heavyset Hispanic man with a buzz haircut. He reportedly fled the scene before police arrived
