Juan Gilberto Mora Arrested For Stabbing of Elizabeth Garcia

Lubbock Police have arrested the man that they believe stabbed a woman late Sunday night.

Juan Gilberto Mora was arrested at the Koko Inn near 50th Street and Avenue Q just after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Lubbock Police say that the 32-year-old Mora reportedly stabbed 28-year-old Elizabeth Garcia multiple times in her apartment at the Toledo Court Apartment Complex at around 11:45 p.m. Sunday, April 6^th.

Mora reportedly fled the scene. Garcia was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. She remains in critical condition.
