As violence continues across Lubbock, there is some hope that the new Lubbock Police Chief will be able to come in and help clean up the violence. But that is a tall order. As a city grows, so does crime and Lubbock is growing.

Gangs are also growing in Lubbock and recruiting new people all the time. That's why the Anti-Gang Center of West Texas is important. And the website StopLubbockGangs.org is an important tool supported by local, state, and federal agencies.
