
Lubbock Police Offering Reward For Information About Deadly East Lubbock Shooting
Lubbock Police need your help when it comes to information about a recent shooting in Lubbock.
According to a press release on Wednesday, the Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is asking for the public's health about a shooting in East Lubbock that left one person dead.
According to Lubbock Police, officers responded to reports of shots being fired around 1:00 a.m. in the 1900 block of East Baylor Street on February 2. When officers arrived on the scene they found 29 year-old Robert Johnson inside the residence with multiple gunshot wounds. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. Other officers responded to the residence to assist the the officers who arrived first.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000. Callers would be eligible for up to $5,000 for information leading to an identification and arrest. Callers can also remain anonymous.
