Three former Texas Tech football players were indicted in a Lubbock court for burglarizing a home and stealing thousands of dollars worth of guns. 

Robert Castaneda, Trace Keaton Ellison, and Dakota Allen were charged with burglary of a habitation. The trio is accused of breaking into a residential home in December 2015 and stealing several guns and other items valued at more than $17,000.

Castaneda himself admitted to the crime and provided the jersey numbers of his accomplices to Lubbock police when questioned in May.

Castaneda, Ellison and Allen were all released from the Texas Texas football program for failing up uphold standards.
