Dr. Ben Powell Discusses His New Book, Beer, and Socialism

Dr. Benjamin Powell, Director of the Free Market Institute of Texas Tech, joined The Chad Hasty Show on Tuesday to discuss his brand new book, "Socialism Sucks: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through The Unfree World".

Powell discussed how beer and beer prices can really be tied to the form of government a nation has. Powell discussed his travels in socialist nations and lessons Americans can take away from places like Sweden, Cubs, and Venezuela.

Powell also talked about how he and his co-author went to the largest gathering of socialists in the United States and what he took away from that experience, including something that he was hopeful of.
