ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — The Rev. Billy Graham is in good spirits at a North Carolina hospital while he waits to learn if he has pneumonia.

The 93-year-old evangelist was admitted to Mission Hospitals in Asheville late Wednesday morning suffering from congestion, a cough and a slight fever.

Spokesman A. Larry Ross tweeted Thursday morning that Graham was in good spirits after reading from the Bible and praying with his daughter, Gigi, on Wednesday night.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association says his condition remains stable.

In May, Graham spent five days in the hospital during a bout with pneumonia.

Graham rarely appears in public, but recently published his 30th book, in which he reflects on aging and mortality.
