If you are fan of Texas Tech, the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Texans, or the Kansas City Chiefs, there is some good news. Football season is here.

Last week a handful of college football teams kicked off a new season and this weekend in the college ranks, the Big 12, ACC, and SEC all kick-off (even though some teams are sidelined due to coronavirus).

Tonight in the NFL, the Superbowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes host the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium. You can hear that game on our sister stations Talk 1340 and Awesome 98, 98.1 FM.

The Dallas Cowboys begin their season this Sunday night when they travel to L.A. for a game against the Rams.

Fans won't be allowed at all games and even in stadiums where fans are allowed, it will look much different due to the coronavirus.

There will also be controversy.

The NFL and even teams in the NCAA will be protesting social justice. There will probably be some in the NFL and the NCAA who will protest during the national anthem. How long the protests will last is anyone's guess, but it will be controversial. It could lead to fans turning off the games.

So, will you be watching? Will you tune in tonight and this weekend to see how your favorite team handles the protests? Or have you already decided to either ignore the protests or ignore the season completely? Let us know in today's poll.
