Twenty-One Year-Old Chace McAlister Killed in Monday Night Wreck

One man is dead after crashing his truck into a building in southwest Lubbock Monday night.

Chace McAlister wrecked his truck into a building occupied by a dry cleaner business and a computer repair shop in the 5200 block of 82^nd Street just after 10 p.m.

The 21-year-old McAlister died from his injuries before rescuers could free him from the truck.

Several blocks of 82^nd Street were blocked off as Lubbock police investigated the incident. No word yet on the cause of the wreck.
