Texas Tech Student Dies After Fall From Parking Garage

Robert Snyder, KFYO.com

A Texas Tech student is dead in  a possible suicide.

Lubbock police say that 25-year-old Michael Siebenthal fell from the Raider Park building, located in the 2500 block of the Marsha Sharp Freeway around 4:45 a.m. Thursday.

Lubbock Police continue their investigation into the matter. No official rulings have been made as of the official cause of death as of yet.

If Siebenthal’s death is ruled as a suicide, it will be the second from Raider Park within a year, as a 19-year-old Texas Tech sophomore jumped off of the parking garage last September.

KFYO will bring you more on this story as it develops.
