The Lubbock Police Department is currently asking the public for their help in searching for a deadly shooting suspect. 32-year-old Ladarion Daniels is wanted by the Lubbock  Police Department after being accused of shooting 37-year-old Marshone Sheppard.

KAMC news reports that the incident occurred Sunday, March 24, in the 1600 block of 50th Street at 1:51 a.m. outside of a Taco Shack. Officers with the Lubbock Police Department were already near the scene after being dispatched on an unrelated incident. It was there officers discovered the body of Sheppard where he was with other people waiting to enter the restaurant. The Lubbock Police Department's Special Response Group was called in to control a large crowd that had formed at the scene which resulted in two arrests, 36-year-old Marquis Sheppard and 38-year-old Larry Young.

The Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit took to social media to ask the public for their help in finding Ladarion Daniels after an official arrest warrant was issued on March 28. Daniels is described as a black male with brown eyes, black hair, weighing 206lbs, and standing at 6'2". Daniels reportedly fled the scene the night of the shooting and was picked up in a vehicle driven by other people.

Those that see Daniels are asked not to try to apprehend him by any means as he should be considered armed and dangerous. If you do see Daniels take extreme caution and do not approach him, get to a safe space and contact the authorities immediately. For anyone who knows of Daniels whereabouts they are urged to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000, you can remain anonymous.
