Texas Tech Sophomore Dies After Fall from Parking Garage

A Texas Tech sophomore is dead after a fall from the top of a parking garage near campus.

19-year-old Mason Vanstory was found dead at the bottom of the Raider Park Parking Garage just after 5:20 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators estimate Vanstory fell sometime between 3 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

Lubbock police say that the cause of death and circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being investigated.

No other details are available at this time, according to police.
