South Plains College Freshmen Receive STEM Scholarships from Xcel Energy

Six freshman pre-engineering students at South Plains College have been selected to receive $1,000 scholarships from Xcel Energy.

The Xcel Energy STEM Scholarship recipients were chosen by faculty of the Mathematics and Engineering Department at SPC.

The recipients are: Jesus Catano of Seminole; Genna Jackson and Landon Schulle, both of Levelland; Aaron Lambert of Lubbock; Collin Smart of Magnolia; and Jordan Stroud of Muleshoe.

All recipients were in their first semester at South Plains College.
