Last week, Radio Ink Magazine reported that former President Ronald Reagan (1911-2004) is to be inducted to the National Radio Hall of Fame November 5th of this year in Chicago.

Here is some audio of a Reagan radio broadcast courtesy of the Radio Hall of Fame.

Reagan was the voice of the Chicago Cubs for WHO Radio in Des Moines, IA and WOC in Davenport, IA and called various Big Ten football broadcasts before becoming a silver screen star in Knute Rockne: All American in 1940 and then subsequently joining the United States Army in 1941 when America entered the war.
