On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Marshall Jones, executive director of the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas, talked with Chad Hasty and Rex Andrew about an upcoming event the foundation is hosting in Lubbock.

Tomorrow night, there will be a open meeting to discuss starting a Lubbock chapter of the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas. The meeting will start at 6:30 and will take pace at Manna Bread and Wine at 2610 Salem Avenue in Cactus Alley. There will be free food and wine served, and the public is encouraged to attend. The Wine and Food Foundation of Texas is a non-profit organization established in 1997. The foundation hosts various wine and food events all across Texas, with the proceeds of the events going back to the local communities. Tomorrow night's event will be the first time the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas has put on an event in the South Plains.
