One of my favorites restaurants in town, Manna Bread & Wine along with Milo's Fine Wine & Whisky, will be hosting an organizational meeting this Thursday at 6:30 PM in order to start a Lubbock Chapter of the Wine & Food Foundation of Texas. If you enjoy great wine and great food, this event needs to be on your calendar.

The event is open anyone who enjoys wine and food. This event is also open to the public, so no membership is needed to attend. What can you expect on Thursday? According to the press release from Manna Bread & Wine:

Manna Bread and Wine and Milo's Fine Wine and Whisky Bar will be hosting an organizational meeting of the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas on Thursday afternoon, July 26th at 6:30 PM.  Joining us from Austin will be the WFFT Executive Director, Mr. T. Marshall Jones, and Community Relations Director, Ms. Morgan Thomsen.

Wines will be served from Milo's Cellar and Chef Sara North will be preparing a spread of various appetizers including artisan cheeses from Veldhuizen Cheese Company Dublin, Texas.  Please RSVP if attending to Morgan Thomsen at mthomsen@winefoodfoundation.org.

For more information about the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas, you can visit their website. I recommend going to this event if you enjoy wine and good food. Remember, this event is Thursday evening at 6:30 PM. I'll see you there.
